This two-year contract position will require relocation to St. Petersburg, Russia effective as soon as possible. The facade manager will coordinate testing and quality construction of the exterior curtainwall facade of the supertall (86 story, 460m) Lakhta Centre.
Job description
- Create control level schedules (Level 3) as needed
- Update Level 3 schedules
- Develop constructability plan, including schedule and staffing requirements
- Facilitate the kick-off of the constructability program
- Ensure implementation of the constructability program
- Review construction philosophy, and constructability procedures and checklists
- Hold additional constructability discussions if required
- Ensure constructability issues are documented
- Verify that constructability comments to the design are resolved and incorporated as appropriate
- Provide construction input during scope and execution development efforts
- Facilitate discipline checklist reviews used to identify major constructability issues
- Provide input to the plot plan and other documents
- Define systems turnover packages
- Participate in other project design activities and decisions to provide construction input
- Assist in the development of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Construction Work Package (CWP)
- Support the development of the construction schedule and other project deliverables
- Assign a unique identification number and date to each RFI
- Review the Prime Contract to determine if any as-built requirements are addressed
- Develop a listing of as-built drawings to be provided upon project completion
- Collect as-built information during construction
- Update the Construction Condition Analysis
- Patrolling the site
- Quality, Safety, Scheduling Meeting
- Plans, coordinates, and oversees development and implementation of construction projects
- Assists Project Construction Manager in planning construction methods and procedures, coordinate construction issues
- May include supervision and management of construction inspection and testing
- Manages contractor(s), testing agency, coordinate architect, and other project
- Participates in the successful execution of design, schedule, cost, contract administration, and quality aspects of construction projects
- Monitors project activities related to construction site work
- Employs exceptional construction management knowledge including knowledge of CPD scheduling, cost estimating, and contract administration
- Creates material handling and site utilization plans for specific areas. Coordinate with Project Engineer’s and Office Engineer’s on material needs, RFIs, etc
