Façade Consultants Reviews

Our law firm is Cosgrove, Eisenberg and Kiley PC located in Quincy, MA. My practice focuses on plaintiff tort work. I retained Mark Meshulam as my plaintiff liability expert regarding a defective and exploding shower door. The door had been purchased at Home Depot that unexpectedly and without misuse shattered and caused the plaintiff serious personal injury including hospitalization and two surgeries. I did a fair amount of research on the hiring of an expert and then retained Mark Meshulam of Facade Consultants who has authored a number of articles on the subject and has a substantial resume of cases that he has worked on.

His services included a preliminary review of the matter and doing an exhaustive inspection of the door on his trip east. There was further consulting and eventually the rendering of opinions that were very helpful at mediation held in federal court in Boston. He returned all of my calls and worked closely with me preparing for mediation. He was a pleasure to work with and I would rate his knowledge of the subject and the quality of work as excellent.

Our firm practices architecture for the K-12 and local government sectors in Southern and Central New Jersey. Our firm was retained by a county agency to review the second and third floors of the south facade of a courthouse to ascertain the cause of glazing failure and water infiltration and make recommendations for remediation. Mark Meshulam of Facade Consultants was selected to be our aluminum window consultant. Mark’s services included a site visit in which existing window segments were removed and visually inspected for defects which may have caused water intrusion. Mark provided technical expertise concerning the window system for a report of our findings, assisted in determining cause of window failure, and assisted in specifying and detailing of a new window system. Throughout the process Mark’s expertise was apparent. We would definitely use him again.

I recently had the privilege of working with Mark Meshulam as a glass litigation expert, and I couldn't be more impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and dedication to our case. From the outset, it was evident that Mr. Meshulam possesses a deep understanding of the intricacies of glass-related legal matters.

Throughout the process, Mr. Meshulam demonstrated an impressive command of the subject matter, providing invaluable insights and analysis that significantly strengthened our case. His attention to detail and meticulous approach ensured that no stone was left unturned, ultimately leading to a favorable outcome.

What truly sets Mr. Meshulam apart is his unwavering commitment to client satisfaction. He took the time to thoroughly understand our specific needs and objectives, tailoring his approach to meet our requirements effectively. His clear communication and responsiveness instilled confidence and reassurance, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free.

I cannot recommend Mr. Meshulam highly enough to anyone in need of a glass litigation expert. His expertise, professionalism, and dedication are truly exceptional, and I would not hesitate to enlist his services again in the future. I have worked with Mark on small, relatively simple projects where his expertise allowed a quick answer to cases involving catastrophic injuries and death. His attention to detail has kept me away from pursuing cases and has been the basis for a successful trial where the Illinois Appellate court upheld a verdict that rejected other opinions -- finding his work as the foundation for the verdict. Presenting him for a deposition is a pleasure as he is always prepared. Opposing attorneys recognize what I do and are challenged to reconsider pursuing a baseless defense after hearing from him. He knows more about windows and glass, their installation, use, etc., than just about anyone you will retain. His expertise is more than just academic. He has worked in the field and supervised or created many projects. He is my first call after I am retained by a client whose case involves an issue regarding glass and windows, and sometimes beyond that expertise.

We are an owner and developer of residential and commercial real estate in the Princeton, New Jersey area. I hire Mark at the recommendation of a local architectural firm to act as a consultant on a window replacement project. The project involved replacing all exterior glass on a four-story suburban office building. Mark Meshulam of Facade Consultants was selected to be our project consultant. He worked with the architects, engineers, glass manufacturers and bidders to put together a project that was on-time and on-budget. We had some unique issues with the ground floor system that required a redesign, which Mark designed himself and had approved by the structural engineer. He then walked the bidders through his design so that they could bid it accurately and ultimately, install it perfectly. We couldn’t have been happier with Mark’s expertise, professionalism and ability to think outside the box. Mark is truly an expert in his field.

We have used Mark Meshulam for a number of years to diagnose water penetration issues we have faced at our buildings. These issues have seemingly increased in number over the years and occur in both vintage buildings and newer construction. Whenever we have hired Mark, he has provided great service. He critically analyzes the situation, thoughtfully identifies possible problems and then recommends potential solutions to the problems. He usually surprises us by identifying some potential problems that we had not thought of ourselves. We highly recommend Mark for those who face water penetration issues that are difficult to solve.

My firm practices personal injury and products liability in High Ridge, Missouri and throughout the entire State of Missouri. We had a recent matter involving our college student client who received serious lacerations to his arm because a storm door did not contain safety glass. Mark Meshulam of Facade Consultants was selected to be our glass expert. Mark’s services included examination of numerous other buildings owned by the defendant to locate another storm door without safety glass and negating the defense claim that these doors were “grandfathered” because they were installed prior to the 1976 federal regulation which required all storm doors to be manufactured with safety glass. The quality of his work was excellent both in his report and in his deposition testimony which resulted in a very favorable confidential settlement. I would definitely use him again.

Clearpointe Construction specializes in the installation of Commercial Aluminum Windows for the Chicagoland area. We had a recent project at the Illinois National Guard Armory located in Chicago that had a large historic component as part of the scope of work. Mark Meshulam of Facade Consultants was engaged by our firm to assist in documenting existing conditions, recommendations for appropriate materials, and helping to finalize the course of action. He exhibited a great knowledge of the required steps that needed to be implemented and would definitely be called upon again in the future.
